Meet Alanna Brown
Founder and Principal Accountant
Alanna Brown grew up in Perth, Western Australia, and graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting. She began working as an accountant immediately after graduating and has spent over a decade working with various accounting firms across Perth.
In 2025, Alanna gained her CPA accreditation and became a member of the NTAA. Tide Accounting was born from her passion for supporting local businesses through both the highs and the lows, and her belief that small business owners deserve the same level of care and collaboration usually reserved for larger clients.
Alanna is known for her approachable style and clear communication, making clients feel comfortable asking questions and staying involved in their financial journey.
Outside of work, Alanna enjoys good food and wine, exploring the Western Australian coastline, and spending time with her family and dog.
